Sarah Hackett

Sarah Hackett is the Director of the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools at CESA 9. She earned a PhD from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Curriculum and Instruction. She is a graduate of the rural public school system in Wautoma, Wisconsin, and the Wisconsin liberal arts institution, Lawrence University. Sarah worked with a local team in Montello, Wisconsin to establish a community-based, environmental, student-interest, and project-based high school. Following that, Sarah is proud to have been a core member of the Innovative Schools Network, helping to build momentum around public school change in Wisconsin. Most recently, she has been central to a UW School of Education research study of Personalized Learning, focused on alternative models of assessment. Sarah also celebrates and is influenced greatly by her two children.
Tim Scottberg

Tim Scottberg is the Associate Director of the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools. He earned his masters in Education Leadership and Administration from UW-Oshkosh, where he also earned his bachelors in elementary education. Before joining the WRCCS team, Tim spent six years as the principal of Fond du Lac STEM Academy, a Project-Based STEM school that has served students in grades 3-12. He was an assistant principal at Fond du Lac High School and lead teacher of Catalyst Charter Middle School in Ripon, WI. Prior to that, Tim was an at-risk teacher at Ripon Middle School. He loves backpacking with his family and enjoys being outdoors as much as possible.
Gabrielle DeShambo

Gabrielle DeShambo is the Resource Specialist for the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools (WRCCS). She graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources. She's excited for this opportunity to grow and help the children of Wisconsin reach their full potential. In her free time, Gabrielle likes to read and listen to podcasts about true crime.
Amber Sinz

Amber is the Program Coordinator for the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools (WRCCS). She graduated from UW-Stout with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and received her Master's Degree in School Counseling, Pre-K through 12th grade with an emphasis on Career Counseling. Amber brings a wide variety of experience including school counseling, substitute teaching, customer relations, and social media management. She has worked with many different schools and has an extraordinary drive for continuous improvement. In her free time, Amber enjoys reading, running, and spending time outdoors with her family, especially hiking and skiing. She also loves weekend adventures with their dog, Zeke.

Zaynab Baalbaki

Zaynab Baalbaki is a Charter School Program Consultant at the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools at CESA 9. Previously Zaynab was an advisor at Escuela Verde high school, an independent charter school in Milwaukee. She also served on the State Superintendent Advisory Council for Charter Schools. Zaynab brings a passion and excitement around educational equity. Zaynab has held other roles such as Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education board member and currently is on the justice, equity, diversity and inclusion committee. She was selected as part of an ad hoc committee for the Wauwatosa Common Council on racial equity. Zaynab loves to try new restaurants. Multilingual.
Chamomile Nusz

Chamomile Nusz is a co-owner of Circle Education LLC, a consulting service working to support innovative education. She works with the Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools supporting the development of high performing charter schools throughout the state of Wisconsin. Chamomile works for the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education in member services, supporting schools throughout the United States in support services and the membership process of self-study. Chamomile was a founder of the Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools (TRCCS) in 2012 and served as the Executive Director of the TRCCS Elementary, Middle, and Virtual Schools until 2021. Chamomile received her Masters' in Education from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point (UWSP). Chamomile is also the 2021 recipient of the Oscar W. Neale Fellowship.
Nick Pretasky

Nick's life work is to ensure every person has the opportunity to reach his/her full potential. Nick is the founder and lead listener at Humanistic Leadership LLC where he supports leaders, teachers, and learners in all facets of education. He brings experience working in traditional and non-traditional forms of education, coaching, leading from Maine to Alaska. He is a past school founder, teacher, director and governance board member. Nick often leans on his experience as a wilderness guide to support individuals and organizations around inner work, trust, and growth through conflict. We cannot summit the mountain without our people! He has discovered that leadership and governance coaching is needed more now than ever in our schools and organizations as they strive to implement their unique vision and mission in a dynamic and ever-changing world. Listening, supporting, and inspiring leaders is his jam. He loves to talk about innovative and humanistic ways to ensure equity of voice, shared commitment, and organizational conditions that set everyone up for success. He "geeks out" when coaching individual leaders or leadership teams especially when he has the opportunity to partner with them through culture transformation. When not supporting educational organizations and leaders, Nick is extremely fortunate to spend his time with his wonderful wife, two amazing daughters, and their yellow lab.
