WHY?
As the state resource center for charter schools, WRCCS decided to put together these resources and events to help bring better understanding and navigation of virtual learning, programs, and schools. WRCCS strives to support schools in disseminating best practices with one another around virtual learning and other innovative curriculum and instructional models.
WHAT?
There are 2 separate events - each 2 hours long - where the WRCCS team will welcome people into the main Zoom room, share document resources, and help direct everyone to explore various models of virtual learning, rotating breakout rooms every 15 minutes.
WHO?
We hope to serve several audiences:
1. Families who are currently in virtual learning or exploring virtual learning -- to help you better understand high quality options available in your district and beyond.
2. Schools and programs seeking the sharing of best practices in curriculum and instruction, and/or seeking to supplement their local offerings.
3. Staff who seek to understand what kind of learning is happening across the state in order to improve your local offerings and gain more tools to support students in their pathways.
WHEN?
Mark your calendars, share the word, and plan to join us for the full fair, or just for a little while if you're tight on time, or learn afterwards from our asynchronous materials if you can't join the events.
February 12th at 11am-1pm and 6pm-8pm
