Mentor Program
The WRCCS Mentor School Program is intentionally designed to be personalized to meet the needs of each charter school. The mentor program is an opportunity for any charter school to work with WRCCS to create school-specific action plans using the WRCCS Charter School Competencies that directly relate to the needed work each charter school is doing to better set up their school for success. WRCCS and dedicated Peer Support Schools will be guides on the side to support charter schools with questions, resources, and/or inspirations when needed. Online Courses, guides, best practice resources, trainings, summits, professional learning networks (PLNs), and personalized support opportunities are all available to help schools meet specific action plans.
Department of Public Instruction Charter School Program subgrantees will use the WRCCS Mentor Program to meet DPI's Professional Development Requirements. We will be using a user-friendly software called HEADRUSH to help manage the action plans for each sub-grantee and we will be providing Zoom, a video conferencing software, for each group.
WRCCS thanks you for engaging in the WRCCS Mentor Program as we all work together with the goal to improve public education through the sharing of resources and supports.
